The Bluest Eye, Toni Morrison, explores growing up in a world that is not built for the historically underrepresented & ignored children.
Morrison said herself that she wrote it because she wanted to read it. She didn’t see herself or her experiences in any literature at the time. She saw a gap and decided to fill it.
This is exactly what MMP is trying to do. We see a gap in our industry, and we are working to fill it!
“If we planted the [Marigold] seeds, and said the right words over them they would blossom, and everything would be alright”
- The Bluest Eye

are not doing enough.
