I have had a varied career as a pianist, organist, vocal coach, repetiteur, composer, arranger, and instructor at McGill University. I have performed across North America and China, and had the wonderful opportunity to perform music for two pianos with my twin brother. But a decade into my career as a musician, I realized that though this is who I am, it is not all of who I am. I began asking myself how I could do the most good in the world.

It seems to me that our biggest challenges aren’t political or climate change or the eventual surpassing of human capability by Artificial Intelligence. They are the difficulty we have working with people we disagree with. This results in difficulty addressing all of these problems.

And so I trained as a mediator to learn about conflict resolution. I began volunteering at a suicide prevention hotline to learn about changing people’s opinions. I began leading workshops on de-escalating conflict in interpersonal communication, and the tools to help us collaborate with anyone.

Today I divide my time between my musical career, and helping artists and entrepreneurs across Canada and the US to negotiate, collaborate, network, and navigate the difficult relationships of their personal and professional lives.
